Standard broadsheet page size is 578mm high x 370mm wide.
Press 1 full colour, 32pp broadsheet straight, 64pp broadsheet collect, double for tabloid.
Press 2 full colour 16pp broadsheet straight, 32pp broadsheet collect, double for tabloid.
One nested trimmed magazine separately stitched inside another stitched and trimmed magazine possible.
KBA Colora commenced production 2006. 6 double width, twice around units, 2 formers and 2 folders. EAE press controls with automatic ink pre-sets from PDFs. QI automatic colour register and cutoff control.
Stitch and Trim magazine type products can be produced either in line from the press or off line in the mailroom. Standard trimmed magazine size is 340mm x 269mm but virtually any size from tabloid to smaller than A4 is possible.
A range of glued spine booklets of dimensions 260mm x 170mm can be offered from 8pp to 64pp.
Press 1 & 2 can be run in combination to give pagination up to 48pp broadsheet straight, 96pp broadsheet collect and double for tabloid.

Packing and direct delivery to An Post of postal subscription copies available.
More inserts and preprints can be accommodated by preinserting in advance of live production.
Off line guillotine and hole punch available to produce single sheet flyers and leaflets.
Courier service, including labelling to courier requirements, available for subscription copies and bundles.
2 independent Ferag mailroom lines, each with the capability to insert a huge range of 2 pre-printed supplements and 2 commercial leaflets or up to 4 pre-prints or 4 commercials depending on the specific products.
Ferag quarter fold line available, either on line or off, to quarter fold tabloids from 4pp to 64pp. Typically used for commercial products or newspapers which will be delivered door to door.
Mailroom lines normally operate on line from the press minimising delay between printing and despatch although off line production is possible.
Mailroom flexibility allows production of broadsheet posters and wall planners, double broadsheet poster (4pp broadsheet wide), calendars, glued booklets, half glued booklets (near A5 landscape), leaflets and flyers, trimmed broadsheets, Berliner main jackets with half Berliner magazine back set, B4 magazines, A3 folded to A4 flyers plus customer bespoke products.

QI Closed Loop system installed March 2022 with automatic Ink Density to match Tiffs, automatic Damp, Colour Register and Cut-off control

Paper Supplies
Standard Webprint supplied newsprint is 40gsm. We have multiple newsprint suppliers to reduce the impact of supply chain disruption to our newsprint. Unless exceptional circumstances dictate or the customer requests, only one newsprint type and grade from one supplier is used in any one publication and one print run.
Stocks of 52gsm improved brightness newsprint and 70gsm woodfree newsprint are held for special and commercial applications.
FSC and PEFC paper stock available on request.
